5 things to make your life simpler, sweeter and more satisfying:

5 things to make your life simpler, sweeter and more satisfying:

1. Do Your Undones. An unfinished will, a fitness program gathering dust, an important project procrastinated, a key relationship that needs repair and a spiritual venture neglected are all items that are draining your energy and causing “psychic drama” in your life. Get these fixed and completed and you’ll receive a rush of creativity, productivity, passion and peace.

2. Use The News. In our current era, the news can be very polarizing and quite toxic. I used to avoid the news nearly completely before the pandemic and I must say it served my creativity and happiness well. Then, as the world fell, I subscribed to a news app to see what was happening each day, so I could protect my family and prepare for the future. All I’m saying is use the news to serve your progress yet never as an escape. Consuming this information in moderation will bring serenity back into your days, reducing inner noise and removing outer drama.

3. Detox Physical Spaces. Mess creates stress. Do an inventory of the places you spend most of your time and stop going to the places that bring you down. At home, go minimalist and give away all the material things that fill your place with clutter. You’ll feel good knowing you’re helping those in need. And cleaning up your spaces will clean out the negativity and distractions from the spaces where you spend most of your time.

4. Say Goodbye to Energy Thieves. I’ve mentioned this before in messages to you yet I’ll say it again because good coaching is good reinforcing: you can live your highest life or be around drama-loving people yet you can’t do both. Strip the complainers, excuse-makers and naysayers from your life today! It’ll revolutionize your mindset, performance, happiness and impact. If these people are family members, then love them from afar. Or rather than associating with them daily do it weekly or monthly or quarterly. What’s good for your soul is good for the world, right Ahya?

5. Be More Wild. By this I mean get away from the world and more into the wilderness, more often. For 25 years I end most workdays with a walk in the woods or a mountain bike ride in the countryside. I can’t tell you how beautifully this restores my perspective, renews my mind and enchants my spirit. You’ll feel deeply alive and drama-free the more you befriend nature. Because it really is your friend.
